古えの祭りを、今再び。音楽、食、芸術の祝宴。Spirits of old, Souls of the future. A celebration of Music, Food and Art.
ishinokoは、石川県滝ヶ原村の里山で開催される音楽、食、芸術の祭典です。国内外から集まる若者たちが、地元滝ヶ原村の人々と共に暮らしながら、過疎化の進んだ地域の祭りの伝統を復活させるために活動しています。国内外のミュージシャン、DJ、シェフ、生産者、パフォーミング・アーティスト、画家、職人、建築家などが集い、あらゆる世代が参加できる新しい文化ムーブメントを形成し、日本のみならず世界へとishinokoの輪を広げています。
ishinoko is a music, food, and arts festival taking place in the satoyama village of Takigahara, Ishikawa. A team of young people from Japan and overseas are living and working together with the local Takigahara residents to revive matsuri traditions that have faded away since many local young people moved away to the cities. Bringing together domestic and international musicians, DJs, chefs, food producers, performing artists, painters, craftspeople, architects and more, ishinoko is shaping a new cultural movement accessible to all generations that is spreading across Japan and beyond.

The charm and difficulties of hidden ‘Takigahara’, population of 200
ishinokoの舞台は、石川県の秘境の地、滝ヶ原。
ここには、日本文化遺産とされる石切場や獅子舞など、伝統的な日本文化が多く存在します。
また、近くには鞍掛山があり、地域住民が長きにわたって、手入れしながら守ってきた動植物の宝庫である、美しい里山の原風景が広がっています。
そして、石川特有とも言える、里山と海の距離の近さや、多湿の夏と長い冬といった気候の特徴が、新鮮な食材の豊かな食料庫を生み、発酵と保存の豊かな歴史も生み出してきました。
しかしながら、滝ヶ原は人口約200人の限界集落です。現在では、人口の衰退により、長きにわたって続いていた伝統や文化、自然の存続が危ぶまれています。
ishinoko takes place in Takigahara, an rarely-visited region in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Many traditional Japanese cultural traditions exist here, such as stone carvings and lion dance.
Also nearby is Kurakakeyama, a beautiful, pristine satoyama with a treasure trove of flora and fauna that has been cared for and protected by local residents.
In addition, the proximity of the countryside to the sea, the humid summers and long winters, and other climatic features unique to Ishikawa, have created a rich larder of fresh foodstuffs and a rich history of fermentation and preservation.
However, Takigahara is a settlement with a population of approximately 200 people, the decline of which is endangering the survival of long-standing traditions and culture.

人口衰退と伝統や文化の存続が危ぶまれる中、この数年間、滝ヶ原にある資源は多くの若者を魅力し、仲間が徐々に増えてきました。 In the face of population decline and the threat to the survival of traditions and culture, the resources available in Takigahara have attracted many young people over the past few years and the number of friends has gradually increased.
Graham Davies（イギリス出身）
元々Webのエンジニアやデザイナーとして東京で働いていましたが、滝ヶ原のアートと自然、食に魅了されて移住。ishinoko創設者の一人で、全体統括もしながらDJもプレイするなど、マルチプレイヤーです。小松市の地域おこし協力隊。
Graham Davies (from the UK): originally worked as a web engineer and designer in Tokyo, but moved to Takigahara after being attracted by its art, nature and food. One of the founders of ishinoko, he a multi-player who also oversees the whole project and DJ’s. He is a member of the Komatsu City Community Development Cooperation.
Anna Jensen（デンマーク出身）
世界中の食を探求し、学びの場を多く手がけ、食の発展に寄与してきたAnna。日本の食に魅力され、それを石川で追究しようと決めて移住を決意。ishinokoでも食のプログラムを担当しています。
Anna Jensen (from Denmark): Anna has contributed to the development of food by exploring food from around the world and creating many learning opportunities, and was attracted to Japanese food and decided to move to Ishikawa to pursue it.
井原 亜子（佐賀県出身）
自然に囲まれた環境下で自分らしい表現活動をしたいと願い、滝ヶ原への移住を決めた養鶏家兼アーティスト。誰よりも愛をもって鶏に接する彼女は、ishinoko ではその範囲を広げ、食のキュレーションをAnnaとともに担当しています。
Ihara Ako (from Saga Prefecture): Poultry farmer and artist who decided to move to Takigahara in the hope of expressing herself in her own way in an environment surrounded by nature.
それと同時に、元々滝ヶ原に住んでいた住民たちも、若者のアイデアを積極的に受け入れ、それに全力で応えようと、一緒に活動するメンバーが増えてきました。 At the same time, more and more members of the original residents of Takigahara have come together to actively embrace the ideas of young people and respond to them to the best of their ability.
滝口 行雄
滝ヶ原の15人の営農組合とともに、滝ヶ原の稲作農協を率いています。ishinokoでは、排水や草刈りの調整など、フェスティバル会場の維持や管理を指揮しています。そして、村内の交通や駐車場の調整も行なっています。
Takiguchi-san is leading the rice farming cooporation in Takigahara together with a group of 15 in the village. For ishinoko he leads the maintenance of the festival site by coordinating drainage and grass cutting. He also coordinates transport within the village and parking logistics on the festival.
山下豊
滝ヶ原自然学校の校長と「鞍掛山を愛する会」の代表を務めています。ishinokoでは、滝ヶ原周辺の施設利用をコーディネートし、ishinokoでは滝ヶ原の文化を伝えるべく、石文化ツアーを実施しています。
Yamashita-san is the head of Takigahara’s Nature School and the “love for kurakake mountain association”. At ishinoko he is coordinating the use of facilities around Takigahara as well as leading a stone culture walk during the festival.
生水 茂
滝ヶ原ishinoko実行委員会の会長。ishinokoに誰でも参加しやすくなるように、村内のコミュニケーションを取りまとめています。小松市役所では里山保全事業に携わり、現在は滝ヶ原自然学校と稲作活動に力を入れています。レコードのコレクションがとてもかっこいいです！
Chairperson of the Takigahara ishinoko executive committee. He manages communication within the village to ensure ishinoko is as open and accessible as possible. He also has a very cool collection of old records.
それだけでなく、多くの人を魅力してきたishinokoは、フェスティバルを作り上げたいとの思いで集まった多くの人々のボランティア活動によって支えられています。 In addition, ishinoko is made up of many other people supporting through their volunteer work to build and create the festival.
白田 玲那（東京在住）
Reinaは去年ishinokoに初参加。普段は、フラワーアーティスト、ビデオグラファー、プロップスタイリストなど、多岐に渡って精力的に活動。ishinokoでは、プロモーションを中心に運営に尽力してくれています。
Reina joined ishinoko for the first time last year. She is a florist, videographer and prop stylist, and she has been working on the promotion and management of ishinoko.
